0534 Lalique Fleurville Glass Bowl. A Rene Lalique Art Deco period glass bowl. This design is known as Fleurville (flower town) however the decoration looks more like berries than flowers, and they run in concentric circles. The bowl has the'R Lalique France' moulded mark to the base and also has an etched number. The design is unusual in another way for Lalique in that it combines a light oplescence with a gloss topside and mat underside, and this gives a slightly different look to most of his work from this period. Date wise this bowl is around 1930 and the design seems fairly scarce, so probably was produced in quite limited numbers over a short time span. Minor period wear with some light scratches as expected. If for any reason you are unhappy with your item please let us know as soon as possible, and we will do our best to put things right.
